KLABS COMMITTEE FOR QUALITY ASSURANCE AND KLABS EDITORIAL COMMITTEE

KLABS Committee for Quality Assurance (CQA) continuously worked over the project lifetime to secure high quality of project outputs/results. KLABS CQA implemented the following tasks:

• Defined composition of the CQA during the Kick-off Meeting organised at the University in Kosovska Mitrovica;


• Shared tasks among the members of the CQA;


• Developed, adopted and updated quality plan, standards and the indicators ;


• Defined interconnections and put into use Dissemination Strategy , Sustainability & Exploitation Strategy , and Quality Control & Monitoring Manual and its annexes;


• Developed tangible sustainability and exploitation potential of KLABS results and accompanying dissemination;


• Defined the scope of internal and external quality assurance measures for KLABS achievements;


• Developed evaluation standards and template, and assigned tasks to EU partners regarding internal review of developed WB programmes;


• Elaborated European Standards in terms of quality of study programmes, developed templates for presentation of progress work, and monitored process of development of study programmes;


• Monitored the process of curricula validation at institutional/national levels ;


• Developed model questionnaires and carried out students’ evaluation of KLABS study programmes ;


• Determined standards and monitored the external review of study programmes ;


• Evaluated quality of project meetings and events ,


• Organised working sessions on KLABS quality assurance as a part of Management Team meetings, etc.

KLABS CQA closely worked with another project body – KLABS Editorial Committee (EC) – particularly established with the aim to secure the high quality of KLABS books. The scope of work of KLABS EC included:

• Development of the Guide for KLABS Authors and the Guide for KLABS Editors ;


• Development of template for internal evaluation of authors’ material, and other templates, such as Authors’ statement ;


• Evaluation of KLABS books publishing options and selection of the publisher ;


• Collaboration with the authors, resulting in more than 150 internal feedback reports distributed through the e-mail correspondence;


• Selection and collaboration with the international expert reviewers of KLABS books, resulting in obtainment of 11 external review reports that were published within the books ,


• Organisation of working sessions on KLABS books as a part of Management Team meetings, etc.
